Shadows

A weird day, work as usual but for many of us it was filled with sadness about the death of Iain Banks, a great writer and a genuinely lovely man, and the husband of our friend and colleague Adele. It's only three months since she told us about his diagnosis, and he's gone already. I can't imagine how she's feeling right now. It really puts life's little niggles and grumbles into perspective.
