What a morning
I didn't have a very good night. I was worrying about the neighbours cat who we could hear mewing . We all thought he was shut in the neighbours shed but unbeknown to us he was trapped under the decking. Alan messaged Steve at 7 to see if they had him. They didn't and could they come round to try and get him from under the decking. 4 adults and 1 child an hour later we had freed him but he was paralysed . Off to the vet so see what the problem was but it doesn't look good for Reggie. We have no idea how he got under the deck or why. We then had breakfast and went for a coffee
My shoulder is tender this morning but that is to be expected after the pummelling of yesterday. Nothing done again today.
Picked the harvest and I was surprised to get a lot of runner beans. They are having a second flush now the weather is cooler. The onions were dug up earlier in the year and are now dry enough to bring indoors to use. The potatoes are very tiny but I grew them in a tub
UPDATE- Reggie was eunathased. he had a blood clot and vet said it might have been caused by the stress of being trapped or just age. he wasnt a young cat
