Sitting Ducks

A took a quick spin out to The Friars (our local Carmelite Priory) to inhale another dose of pure peace and calm. I seemed to have the grounds almost entirely to myself and felt very privileged to enjoy the almost complete silence without any interruption apart from the light breeze rustling the leaves in the trees and the very occasional commotion from the nearby duck pond.
Therefore, today's image had to be of some of our feathered friends - these two didn't seem to object to their portraits being taken. Well, I suppose you could say they were sitting ducks!
