At Silverburn
From top left, Rowan, Katsura tree, Prunus, and Horse/Sweet chestnut.
Went to Leven for shopping this morning. Food shopping at Aldi, then B&M for bird food. While there I noticed their new garden centre had opened a couple of days ago, so checked it out.
I picked up two Cyclamens, and a very large Chrysanthemum (Extra) all at half price, (£6 for all 3).
So, delighted!
We stopped off at Silverburn on way home for our morning walk. It was quite overcast, but dry, so we had a good walk, starting with the Redwood trail, and ending with the walled garden. We saw lots of squirrels, of course.
I was hoping for a hot chocolate at the Cottage Window café, but it’s hours have changed and is only open Thursday to Saturday. Geordie was more disappointed than I was as he always gets a nice treat there.
Home again to a lovely restful afternoon, with even a nap!
