Beach at sunset, La Turballe, Loire-Atlantique

We stayed at the excellent municipal campsite in La Turballe, which has direct access to the beach.
Here I tried to give bread to seagulls, but they weren't interested!
There was a group of French people who can be seen, happy together (they seemed to be attending something on or near the campsite), about to be joined by two brave men who had been swimming... (I did not venture in myself, having already enjoyed several lengths of the heated campsite pool!)
There was talk of the "rayon vert" or "green ray" that is supposed to briefly appear as the sun sinks, but we did not see it....
