Corvatsch

The delightful early autumn period has started and seems to last at least a week.

Mild temperatures, interplay of sunlight and shadows, the smell of the forest which is still damp from the morning mist, glistening water, snow on the peaks and only a few people around.

We took the e-bikes for a 40km ride to Sils-Maria and back. We stopped half way in Surlej to take the cabin up to Corvatsch (3300m altitude).

Thanks to the dry air and little pollution, there was a perfect distance view today. We could even see the Matterhorn. Amazing.
