It looks good enough to eat.

This yew tree in Rayrigg woods has an exceptional number of berries this year. The dimpled flesh is edible but the seed inside is extremely poisonous. It can be fatal to dogs, which is why my dog- owning friend used to spend ages removing the berries from her yew tree before they reached the ground.
But they do make a lovely photo.
