A perfect apple

Freshly picked from the tree this afternoon. I picked a huge bag of eating apples and two bags of cooking apples from my daughter’s trees. What to do with about 15kg of cookers?? She very cleverly contacted the Food Hub https://www.shrewsburyfoodhub.org.uk/our-story in Shrewsbury who came and picked them up in less than an hour. They will be distributed to schools, old people’s homes, the homeless centre and the rest will be turned into delicious apple dishes. What a fantastic organisation.
