V&Tay - Dundee

Our day began in Aberdeen with a nostalgic whistle stop tour of my childhood family holiday haunts before heading south via Stonehaven, Montrose and Arbroath on the 1101 train for Dundee.

We immediately noticed a new Dundonian buzz in this city formerly renowned for its Jam, Jute and Journalism!

We spent the afternoon at the award winning Verdant Works Jute Mill. A truly fascinating museum that genuinely brings the past to life. We also revisited the V&A just before closing.

After dinner we walked along The Tayside promenade.
