Notes: Woke very early, was hearing what sounded like knocking - several times until I finally got up and looked to make sure no one was out there. Never really could go back to sleep ... finally up early. Headed out around 745a, picked up a pumpkin muffin from the little coffeeshop @ Crossroads (had choc chips tho so wasn't really what I was hoping). Just across the street then for a hair trim at Good Clips and then browsed around Publix for a bit but only ended up buying a piece of carrot cake ( have been wanting something cake-y). Guy was here working to put a cover over the top screen part of the patio - he worked until mid-afternoon and then will have to come back. So tired, laid down late afternoon and slept for awhile. Weird dreams and woke to texts from Kathy saying the 2nd surgery wasn't as invasive as they thought and she may only need a week or 2 of rehab - jolted me into reality of having to head back to FL (was not a good feeling all evening).
