Noah stayed home from school today. He was pretty wiped from his vaccination yesterday. I didn’t even know he was here until he texted me around noon. I took advantage and we went to lunch. I don’t really spend enough one on one time with the kid and he’s about to graduate high school. He’s planning on taking a gap year to work and travel Europe with a friend. Then he says wants to come back and attend community college. Sounds like a great plan to me. I am happy to see how motivated he is.

I made fried rice and a salad for dinner. It came out okay given the ingredients that I had on hand. Avery had her friend over this evening and we played Avalon. It was good fun.
