Kotor

Today we visited Kotor, it was a rainy day so thought we might as well visit another place.

It is a walled city again similar to where we are staying but on a larger scale. Also a lot of the cruise ships dock in Kotor so it has a nice marina.

We decided to climb 1350 up to San Giovanni fortress which gives you amazing views over Kotor bay. It was hard going as the steps are crumbled bits of rock and with the wind and rain I was convinced I was going to blow over the edge. But we made it and the views were amazing just as shame the weather was rubbish as on a sunny day I imagine it would look even better, but there’s no way I’m repeating that walk.

After that we had a well deserved beer before getting the bus back to Budva.

Tonight was dinner and a couple of drinks.
