A lovely side-effect …..

….. ….. ….. of flooding! The reflections of Brow Peak and the trees are in the flooding at Lake Hayes that happened in last week’s storm.
We had a wonderful walk around Lake Hayes this morning, with many kowhai trees blooming brightly, crested grebes preparing their nest, tuis playing games in the trees etc - Springtime is in full swing. There are more photos in Extras.
