Wide Wednesday...Changing seasons
I walked with G this morning and we were on the lookout for signs of autumn. The trees are still very green, but the leaves are falling, and this little path was strewn with copper and gold. ...thanks Steveng :)
The young stone Mason and his dad were here this morning, and after setting up the mixer and preparing all their tools, they commence laying the slabs. A good third done when I returned around 12.30, and bricks laid for a step. The rain held off and they finished all the whole slabs by 3pm. Tomorrow, the noisy, messy job of cutting to lay around the three sides. No real rain until about 4pm, by which time they had covered it all over and gone. Such tidy, clean workers, as well as being very polite and respectful. I'm very happy.
