of the heathers on the rocky ground of the vitrified fort on Knockfarrel, part of the Catsback. A lovely walk along the ridge. Castle Leod is visible centrally, the home of the Mackenzie clan.
It was mild and pleasant up here, with a young Wheatear still around, Kites and Pipits.
