Bamburgh Castle

Rain was forecast for this afternoon, so we decided to go to Bamburgh Castle this morning.  We have been before so coffee in the castle we headed out onto the beach for a bracing walk.

Lunch in the village was a tasty crab sandwich. We retraced our steps to Alnwick and arrived at Barter Books as the rain started. Spent a happy couple of hours there looking at the books and having tea.
