Eerie

I went to get the last train from Arklow Station to Bray at 22:38. It was the first time that I have got a train back from Arklow. I usually just get one to Arklow in the morning and get a lift home. I was surprised to find that there was no one in the station. It is a sad time when no one is employed to man the station at night time. Train stations used to be such a part of the community with everyone knowing the staff that worked in them. When you are on your own in the station the arrival of the train is certainly a welcome sight.
