Homework
The grandkids weren't at school today because of strikes and so we had them for the day.
In the morning Mr Rat tool the oldest one to shop for Foodbank and then help sort out the stocks, he likes to be involved in things. I took the other 2 for a walk to the ponds and let them have a camera each, between them they took over 300 pics!
We did some editing this afternoon and the extra is a collage of 4 from each of them. The older one with the better camera had some excellent shots of the swans and the younger one has a good eye for what might make a good pic (they both do, actually) and also got some good ones.
In between these activities we made some bread rolls for lunch and the middle one did his homework - pancake making. Normally on Tuesdays his class make some sort of food but as the strike was on yesterday, too, they missed it and encouraged to make them at home. Granny's had to do and he followed the recipe well and even didn't make a fuss when he touched the hot pan, I was impressed. The pancakes were excellent and there were enough to take some home for Mum and Dad.
I went to the running in case anyone came, most had already called off because of the weather. No-one did but I still went for a short run, the wind wasn't an issue and the rain only got heavy near the end.
