Plum Crazy

Last summer, at Fiona's we had some tomatoes she'd grown. They were deep crimson and shaped like bells. I scooped the seeds out of one and dried them and sowed them in the spring. They grew into two vigorous bushes with masses of dark green leaves. A few fruits appeared, and at last they are beginning to ripen. They don't look much like the parent, and the taste is nothing special. But it was an interesting exercise.

It has been a cold, wet and windy day. It doesn't bode well for TM's sailing trip :-((
