Storm Agnes…from the kitchen window

First of the autumn storms came barreling across Scotland this afternoon. Tomorrow we will see the damage.
 
Heard in the gym this afternoon that Covid is rife in this area. Reckon its time to batten down the hatches again, especially since I made the discovery that the vaccine we had on Monday is not for the new variant.
 
(M asked the nurse injecting him and she said no you cant have that on top of this present one anyway for another six months.)
 
Since then I have heard that some folk are asked if they want to wait for the new one. Wish I had been told that.
 
So why is the NHS rolling out a vaccine that does not cover the new variant?
