Nerine

I am reliably informed by my wife (confirmed via Google) that this is a nerine. She planted it in the garden in memory of a lovely lady, Renee, she used to visit in the village. Renee lived to a grand old age and was sharp and independent right to the end. She had nerines in her garden, hence the connection. Nerine sounds like an unusual but very nice name and I wonder if it us used at all as a girl's name.
