Not yellow

I picked up this pot of yellow coneflowers on the sale table at a plant nursery a few weeks ago.  It looked like it was finished with creating more blooms for this season but wow! I was wrong.

Playing around with the SX60 creative mode. (Before putting it in the car to use as my carry in the car camera!  I even charged another battery to make sure I was covered!)   Anyway, the yellow turned out pretty well in b/w mode.  

I have my eye on a location for a photo tomorrow that I saw today on the way to my part time job.   Hoping no one will be on the road so I can hop out of the car to get the photo.   

A very cool day today as it did not even get above 70F.   Mostly cloudy but no rain happened.   We could use more rain here.
