Horrendous, shocking but to the point

A very difficult read by an amazing artist. Such thoughts and accompanying pictures would not be published this way today, even for an adult audience. This is his most dramatic, thought provoking book by far in my opinion.

He just observed it and said it how it was, sometimes in a shocking and upsetting way. Published in 1960. Edward Gorey. I have a few of his books and I’d like to own them all.
