A trio

Where would you expect to see a scene like this? A field edge? The countryside? Or in an urban school! Allowing the site to grow freely has seen a number of plants make their own way onto the site, red campion, wild carrot and cow parsley to name a few. Hopefully over time we'll se even more.

Today had two groups out. First it was back to giant 3D shapes with the children completing a cuboid, tetrahedron and a square based pyramid (pictured).

The next group were making mini rafts to carry a tennis ball. Some very quick problem solvers in this group and here is their solution. Have to make the task harder next time by saying the tennis ball can't be allowed to get wet.
