Kimpton Margot Hotel
Today I wound up my day of shopping in the city by meeting up with a friend at the Kimpton Margot Hotel, which I don't think was named after my granddaughter. Until 2009 it was the Sydney Water Head Office, more commonly known as the Water Board Building. The huge downstairs area (extra) is so over the top with its massive columns clad in red polished stone. What a place to go pay your water bill! With its beautiful art déco façade, I'm glad it's heritage listed. Both photos were taken from the balcony.
Thanks for hosting AT Ingeborg.
