Tunnel vision

Driving in Madeira is great; half the time you are surrounded by stunning countryside, the rest of the time you are underground in one of the hundreds of tunnels that speed you under the mountains. This photo is kind-of a bit of both.

Today we are heading for the interior for a rainforest walk along a gorge to look at some waterfalls and a series of fresh water springs.
