Buttercups and White Hill

I took a short cut to the canal this morning which involves crossing a field beside Tesco. The path across this field was a long mud bath in the early part of this year and required Wellington boots to cross over to the supermarket. Now there's a swath of buttercups. You'll be happy to see I've avoided adding Tesco in my blip ;o) Looking in the opposite direction are the Pentland Hills.
