A long way from either home.

I found myself behind this lovely Buick Super  (which from a cursory look on the internet was manufactured around 1957)  on the road from Dunoon this morning.  

The driver  pulled into a passing place to let me by - showing impeccable single track road manners - but I was so fascinated by it that I myself pulled in further on so that I could get some pictures of it as it made its way sedately through the Argyll countryside.

This spot - at the Stronafian road end in Cowal - is certainly a long way from where it was registered -  Reid im Innkreis in Upper Austria - or the USA where it was manufactured.
