The work party (again)

Another convening of the pensioners to attend to our pride and joy, our lovely jointly owned pontoon. Having replaced several of the old floats, it now sits much higher in the water. Clearly a good thing for most, but unfortunately, not all, as some of the smaller boats can slip out of sight beneath the walkway. And as the other crowd are hosting the Squib UK National Championships next year, that would be a bit embarrassing. So here’s the best the clubs' brains could come up with. Planks. They work.
Gawd, that’s interesting. We also fenced off a bit more of Middle Pier as demanded by the grasping landlord who hasn’t been too impressed that part of our leased land has been occupied by the campervan of the itinerant mariner, and his chickens.
Meanwhile, the SK continues to languish. I know she’s not well as even a shopping trip to Waitrose for goodies only succeeds in eliciting a feeble request for ginger cordial.
