Esme Rae is 5!!

Such joyful images came through the ether this morning of their big day out. They've been staying in the hairy hobbit house up in the hills behind Nelson - it looks marvellous and there's an outdoor bath (hot water) , little hobbit doors all over the place and incredible views. They went swimming and then hit the playgrounds in Nelson. We had a chat last night/their morning - yes those are legging on her head, not a beret and in her hand she has remote control for her sharkmobile car. I can do wheelies she roared! And she could. She was also very impressed with her life cycle of a worm figures - far more thrilling than they sound!  She also had mermaid tattoos on her tummy. It was all very satisfactory!
And this morning her parcel for my birthday arrived - a riot of sparkles and love hearts falling out of the packet brimming with wonderful artwork - I might blip that later. 
What a joy she is! And their tickets to the UK are booked for December and as are their tickets to Cork! It's going to be wild!
