Restoration, Levels and Ice Packs

An odd sort of busy day today. Top picture is a desk that I started to sugar-soap, ready for painting, but there were a couple of small patches where the top coat had been scuffed off. Tried to scrape with the scraper (a handy tool for scraping) and found that it just came off in strips. Whoever did the last paint job did not key the surface well, or at all!
Didn't quite finish this, needs sanding to give it a key, because I was distracted by Marlane's remodelling of her bedroom.
The LED tool in the bottom left gives a very accurate line so that screw holes etc. are in perfect alignment. It looks skewiffy but that's just my photography. The tool also incorporates two spirit levels, up/down & left/right. This was to put up the wall mounted TV bracket on the wall and also to move the headboard, which is held up by a couple of screws into very strong plasterboard rawlplugs, those ones with the big thread that cuts into the plaster. Meanwhile, as well as helping me, Marlane was painting furniture that will be in her bedroom when the remodelling is finished.
The odd one out is bottom right, 9 ice packs. We had some Scotch Pies, from Iceland but they were Greggs the Bakers pies, sold by Iceland. We weren't impressed so Marlane ordered 2 dozen proper Scotch Pies from Campbells, up in Scotland.
They arrived in a very strong cardboard box, lined with sliver reflective bubble wrap which was lined in such a way that the box was also waterproof around the sides and bottom. In the bottom, sides and on top were the 9 ice packs, still frozen which tells me the despatch and delivery was very quick.
Anyone want some ice packs? I think I'll put them on FB Marketplace, free of charge, in case anyone can use them.
