D went off to the island at a more civilised hour than usual; then in the morning I had to do a Zoom interview with a chap who does an online radio programme in Stirling. It's called 'Rambling Folk' (sic).

Then in the afternoon I went up to the Central Library - it's still there, folks - to learn something about their online resources. Very impressive, shall never have time to look at it all. Showed my ancient library card to a nice person at the enquiry desk who confirmed that it was totally defunct and issued me with a new one.

Came home via Waverley station in order to get tickets for Glasgow tomorrow - realising that I shall have to travel at rush hour, I wanted to avoid as much unpleasantness as possible.
