The Gormleys

It's taken me quite a long time to get to see this installation because normally I move straight through and stop in the Lake District.

It's 'Another Place', 100 cast iron sculptures of the artist, Antony Gormley, spread over a couple of miles of Crosby beach. Very interesting but a bit wierd. I was hoping to see some water around them but that's part of the interest, they're always going to be different.

We've had a good journey up and we'll be carrying on up to Scotland tomorrow but we're taking it easy and won't reach our destination until Saturday.
