Spotted these birds feeding on seed heads in the estuary this morning.  Not sure what they are.  Think they might be finches, but can't be 100% sure!  Not the best quality shot but just wanted to capture the moment.

I was so shocked to hear about the famous Sycamore Gap tree being chopped down by vandals overnight.  I just despair of people!  I know other blippers have mentioned it and its been on the news too.  So sad.
