Weirly fed up.
I have just written loads about this and lost it all!
So here is a shortened version.
The weir on the river Ure at Boroughbridge.
There is a very short canal, less than a mile, which runs parallel to the river so that boats can reach Ripon. Built about 1770.
A leisurely day visiting Thirsk and Boroughbridge.
Very saddened to learn that the iconic tree in Sycamore Gap has been vandalised and is no more. How on earth can someone do this.
I have seen so many wonderful photos on Blip.
Makes me so angry.
Extra a bargain seen in a shop today. No I wasn't tempted!
