The Wee Birdies are confused

I bought a new Vaccuum Cleaner.
The instructions tell me where I should put the above attachments in the Vaccuum cleaner.

I couldn't find where they are supposed to go.

So, I put them on top of my CD Player etc beside the wee Birdies.

The Birdies don't know why these things are now beside them and what are they supposed to do with them?
