Hangin' around

Walked into Holmfirth this morning with MrM - I needed to post a parcel, and we decided to have brunch at Bloc. Lovely robust coffee, and my scrambled egg on toast was delicious - what a treat, but it was a little too expensive to go there very often!

We stopped briefly by the river, where the ducks were hangin' around by the duck feeding area, before using the cash dispenser outside the Co-op on the way home. We use cash so little these days that we have to make a conscious effort to make sure we have some when it's needed.

An enjoyable couple of hours at my art class this evening - flowers   using chalk pastels this week.

Later on, lovely to talk with Lucy on the phone and wish her a belated Happy Birthday. She's back in London after a long weekend with Reuben in Margate to celebrate.
