Haylage

I hate those plastic wrappers but they are encasing a valuable foodstuff for the cattle during the winter.  Haylage is wet grass, a cross between silage and hay and we usually make it when the cut grass is wet and still has to be dealt with.  Fortunately the weather has been kind and we have made a lot of silage now covered in the clamp and a few bales of dry hay.

Supermarket shopping this morning.  This afternoon I made an appointment with the local pharmacy to have my flu jab tomorrow morning ....... usually I dont have much of a reaction so we shall see .........
