Hauser and Wirth, Bruton
My friend came up from Sidmouth on the train today . We had a really relaxed mooch around Sherborne and then lunch there .
I’d decided to take her up to the Hauser and Worth Gallery at Bruton .
Well, it was certainly interesting but the current art sculpture installations didn’t resonate with us at all . I really felt it was a case of ‘the King’s new clothes ‘ - a chandelier of white underpants for example ! Clearly we didn’t understand what the artists were trying to convey but I have to admit that we had a quiet giggle to ourselves!
You can read about here : https://www.hauserwirth.com/hauser-wirth-exhibitions/54966-gruppenausstellung/
The gardens were stunning and beautifully planted surrounding a striking spaceship shaped building which was really organic inside and obviously was used for outdoor events and dining .
