In the morning we pottered around Siena before heading by train to Poggibonsi. From here we had a taxi to take us to the outskirts of town ( up a steep hill) to Villa San Lucchese , where we are staying for 2 nights.
I had been admiring the lime tree before noticing the cat sleeping underneath it . One contented cat.
I had a plan of a walk we could do tomorrow. So we set out and did the start of it to see how easy it was to find the paths . It will be good to have a day in nature after being in cities.
