The Prom and Holme island

We packed up our cottage and delivered No 1 son to Alnmouth Station for his train south.  It has been a good few days.

We drove home in lovely sunshine and after a brief stop for a bit to eat in Haltwhistle and a stop at our local garage, we were home mid afternoon.  Good to be back after a lovely few days away.
