Bedraggled beauty

More rain overnight but thankfully the sun has been shining today :-)

The weird light from yesterday has now fully cleared :-)

Noticed this rather bedraggled aster .... it was laying down having been rather battered & drenched through the week!

It looks lovely bathed in sunshine enhanced by a couple of droplets :-)

I noticed that I was being watched by a Common Darter (female) from the top of the fence!
