Bandstand

Christchurch Bandstand is located at Christchurch Quay and is Grade II listed.

It is a late 19th Century cast iron octagonal structure raised on plastered plinth. Entrance by 5, semi-circular, steps. Cast iron balustrade and pillars. Decorative cast iron parapet with finials around edge of roof. Wooden ribbed ceiling. Roof surmounted by small dome with finial.

The water behind the bandstand is the River Stour shortly before it is joined by the Avon and on to the sea.
