Such a beautiful day

Hasn't it been a beautiful day? It was like summer all over again. We have been outdoors all day. It's been fab! Our weather app was telling us that it was 18C but it was much, much hotter than that on our very sunny sun terrace this morning. Ann lay around for hours on end reading trashy magazines and I just had to lie in a shady spot.

Went to the beach first thing this morning and it was so hot at 8.30am that Ann had to take her jacket off and I kept having to have little cool downs in the rock pools.

…..............And now it's 5.30pm and our house is still like a sauna, even though we've had our balcony door open all day.

Long may this weather continue.
