COMMON HOUSE FLY

Nothing 'common' about this guy with his iridescent gold and green striped body. I would say 'pretty', but it's a pesky, germy fly, after all! I'm surprised to see hairs on the body but pleased the shot was clear enough to show them! There was a light rain all day today, so not many creatures were out and about to be blipped. I was glad this fly lit on a pretty flower to help make a more interesting picture.
