Verona Arena

Opening night of Turandot but we elected to explore rather than go to the opera. A bit of the walking tour when we got here, and saw 'Romeo and Juliet's balcony'. So sad to see it covered in graffiti. We also discovered that zebra crossings in Italy don't mean the same as the UK. We started to cross only to see a moped hurtling towards us. Mr T said he saw the whites of his eyes as he skidded to a halt!

McDonalds for dinner tonight as the only 'affordable' option!
