Definitely autumn

Our weather seems to be stuck in a rut. Every day  is a bit breezy with a mixture of showers (some very heavy), dry periods and a few sunny intervals, but it certainly isn’t cold. I was at a bit of a loss to know what to photograph for today’s blip, and then the obvious became more obvious and I bagged this shot before the next shower came along.
I spent much of the day on housework, having avoided it for a few days now, but made time to bake a coffee sponge for a weekend treat.
Feeling very sad and perplexed about the felling of the old sycamore at Hadrian’s wall. Why, oh why?
