Leftovers

A landscaper came round this afternoon to discuss building a patio and a fence between me and the neighbours. A couple of minutes in, our conversation faltered as he gazed at the back wall of the house.

'Those are lovely bricks... Oh, I'm sorry, I'm a bit of a brick nerd. '

I was going to get a second quote but I don't think I'll bother.
