Early blip today as we are off to a 'black tie' fundraiser some distance from home.

My best friends only son died of cancer at only 31 years old, leaving twin girls of only 10 years old. It's 10 years since he died and his wife has organised tonights fundraiser in his memory.

I planted this lavender plant that I bought earlier in the year when I visited the Lavender Farm. It's in my 'beach' area. I'm hoping it won't spoil the view of the water feature from my kitchen! Bit of a trade off - view, or scent and watching the Bees at work?
