The view

Yesterday was grim
Operation took an hour and forty
Should have taken twenty minutes

My blood pressure was somewhere on the floor at one point!
I wasn’t allowed to move
Each time I moved anything
It dropped lower!

Eventually got discharged just after 8pm
The ward I was on closed at 7, but rather than move me to the over night ward - the nursing team stayed with me until I was well enough to go

Very Sick on the way home
Not my finest hour

Didn’t really sleep last night

Spent today
Reading
Getting up each hour to have a walk and generally feeling a little bit rough
